Road to Bali Lombok (1)

What will you do if u're a worker who works more than 60 hrs/week and u have a full-week-end-of-year holiday? Spend good time on the hoooooliday of course :D
That is exactly what i was doing at the end of 2009 holiday. I've prepared to go to Bali and Lombok since 2 months before.

At Thursday night, I and Elly went to Stasiun Jatinegara to took the train to Surabaya. We had same holiday destination, but a bit different itinerary and travel companion. I'm with Indri, and she's with Mba Luk. I met with Indri at Bungurasih then continued to Bali by bus. Indri was work and lived in Bali, so she could ask her friend to lend room and motorcycles which was very very useful for us both *thanks Yuan ^_^*

Okay, after heating my arse up for about 27 hrs (on train, bus, ferry, and taxi) we finally arrived at Kuta,Bali at Friday midnite. Then we successfully felt asleep easy in Yuan's room :D
The day after, drizzled washed Bali, made us feel lazy to went out. But finally, after it stopped we went out with Deni, Arif and Eriek (Indri's old friend from her previous office).

We made our first stop at Uluwatu temple.

This place has a great view (when i say great, i mean it). The temple, the cliff, the waves, just name it. They are all combined to make a spectacular place to see. Just beware of monkeys, some are quite aggressive.

Then we continued to Blue Point Beach and Padang-Padang Beach. Those two beaches are wonderful. Blue Point has picturesque view from above. This beach is also well-known for surfer because of its waves.

Padang-Padang located not far from Blue Point. This is the beach where Julia Robert took a scene for the making of Eat,Pray, Love movie.

Next beach is Dreamland. Crowded yet still beautiful. White sand and clear water. I met a cute baby boy named Andrea. He's so friendly and playful. Even i could took a picture with him :D

At afternoon, we went to Kuta beach on foot. Enjoying the sunset while cucimata-ing :))
Can't do better to end that superb day.
