Infectious causes include viral upper respiratory infections, sinus infections, pneumonia and whooping cough. Noninfectious causes include flare-ups of the following: chronic bronchitis, emphysema, asthma, and environmental allergies.
Therefore, cough could be classified into 2 categories, acute which present for less than 3 weeks and chronic which present for more than 3 weeks.

As i reckon my own cough, it started two weeks ago, so i can say now that it's an acute cough. I had take meds and my cough was better last week, but this week it is getting worse. I went to doctor yesterday, and she gave me some pills, hope those pills would kill the virus immediately.
I already avoid fries, ice and anything cold, and also drink honey every morning as well. Cause I need to get better soon. This Friday i'll travel to Karimun Jawa. Need lotta energy before backpacking, rite?
*pray to God for my health ^_^*
